DBE is a distributor for STRATOMET-Amermin Products. DBE & Amermin work together to produce premium, high quality hardfacing products for downhole tools. We provide off the shelf standard products but are also able to develop and customize products for your downhole wear needs. We provide products to repair and manufacturing facilities that include the following:
StratoRod
Stratomet cast composite rods, contains both spherical and angular carbides in a nickel matrix, designed specifically for various wear applications. StratoRod is available in common sizes and are applied via Oxy-Acetylene or TIG. StratoRod is ideal for applications that are subject to extreme abrasion and erosion.
StratoWire
With a continuously fed tubular electrode, high travel speed and deposition rates are achievable, making StratoWire a highly economical hardfacing method. In addition, StratoWire produces uniform high-quality deep penetration welds with exceptional characteristics and strength. StratoWire provides o superior combination of abrasion resistance and toughness.
StratoSpray
StratoSpray is an economic method for repairing large wear surfaces or surface gouges. StratoSpray can easily deposit substantial amounts of material quickly with minimal surface preparation. StratoSpray is a tungsten carbide based thermal spray coating that is used to replace plating techniques as a surface treatment to greatly improve corrosion, erosion, and wear resistance.
StratoArc
StratoArc is designed for PTA/Laser applications to provide superior abrasion resistance over most thermal spray coatings and can be built up much thicker. The heat energy of the bound arc creates a deep weld penetration in a narrower field. This moderates the heat affected zone, creates an incredibly stable arc for precise surface coatings and increases the welding speed over TIG/MIG operations.
Ideal for high impact, erosion and corrosive applications.
StratoFuel
StratoFuel is used in high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) spraying to create a coating that has a low porosity and a high bond strength to the substrate material. The resulting dense coating provides benefits such as corrosion, erosion, and abrasion resistance.
